A small investment might create the fundamentals of a better future and faster results. Experienced Big Data Specialists are rarely seen on the market. There won‘t be any long transition for onboarding or knowledge transfer to a new employee won’t be required. Also having somebody experienced with an external perspective looking at the current implementation could raise new discussions and ideas.

From Anywhere. This means most of the time from my office in Freiburg, where I have a quiet environment to focus on my deliverables. But this also means, that I am available for questions during the whole week and not only when I am at your back office. For very important workshops or discussions, I’d be happy to see my partners and clients at their office spaces.

It is not about the how or where, it is all about the work results. Working remote during the pandemics has shown that having hybrid or remote teams in place does not affect the project results at all (especially within software projects). It also does not require long travel distances when talking about emissions and sustainable aspects. This is the new way of working and there is a chance for us to get in touch although we might be located in a different place.

After the assignment of a project I support my clients on an hourly basis. There is an hourly rate which will be billed by the end of the month with a maximum quota of billable days within a period.

The number of billable days within a period is defined by the consulting package we agreed on. Please check the services page for further information about possibilities and project sizes.

Services

As soon as we agreed on a assignment period as well as on my main tasks that I take over in your team, I can immediately start with onboarding, remote access and initial project implementations.

Usually I send my offer and contract after initial negotiations directly to you. As soon as the agreement has been signed from both sides, we define a milestone plan for the first couple of weeks and then we decide when the collaboration will start, depending on availabilities.

I feel responsible for the clients I collaborate with. Therefore, my focus and passion automatically gets transferred to the projects I decided to be a part of. It’s more than just a job.

Besides, I really care about how to work with people. When both sides feel comfortable working together, the results automatically will be faster and more accurate.

There are two types of projects I usually decline before actually having started a collaboration. I am always open to listen to future collaboration models or to project proposals, but if I can’t cope with the client’s general business purpose or if the project itself has no clear target, I cannot be of any valuable service.

For me it is mandatory to work with people that share goals and come along with similar ambitions. In many cases Analytics projects are just “Budget Projects” to burn some budget without any purpose. These projects occur when people don’t see the benefits and potentials of analytical use cases but only want to follow one of the current hypes.
